The service
NOVA is an AI companion and assistant. Her answers are generated by AI and can be wrong. Don't rely on NOVA for medical, legal, financial or emergency advice.
Free demo
The free demonstration is limited to five minutes of live conversation per person, enforced by our server. We may limit, pause or end the demo at any time, including to prevent abuse.
Subscription
- NOVA Personal AI costs $10.00 USD per month, charged in advance to your card through Banco Cuscatlán (PayWay) each month until you cancel. Your card is stored encrypted so renewals can be charged.
- Cancel anytime from your account. Access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months.
- If a renewal payment fails, access continues for a short grace period while we retry once a day (up to three attempts), then pauses until you update your card.
AI usage: NOVA Credits or your own OpenAI key
The subscription covers the NOVA application (account, history, memory, personalities). The AI that powers voice conversations and text commands is paid for in one of two ways, which you choose in Credits: (1) NOVA Credits, or (2) your own OpenAI API key. We don't provide unlimited AI usage.
NOVA Credits
- Credits are prepaid. You buy them in fixed amounts ($5, $10, $20 or $50 USD) by card through Banco Cuscatlán (PayWay). 1 credit equals $0.01 USD, and a top-up is added only after the bank approves it.
- Voice conversations, text commands and tool use consume credits based on how much you use them, measured by the AI work each request actually involves (not by call length alone). Our usage rates are set by us and may change; a change applies only to usage after it takes effect. Each charge is itemized on your Credits page, and your balance is shown in USD.
- Before a voice call starts we reserve part of your balance, and return what's unused when it ends. If your balance can't cover more usage, NOVA says goodbye and the call ends. We may also stop usage that reaches your own monthly limit, or a daily safety limit we apply to every account.
- Credits don't expire while your account is open, can't be transferred or exchanged for cash, and aren't refundable except where the law requires. Deleting your account deletes any remaining balance.
- NOVA Credits are separate from, and don't change, the $10/month subscription.
Your own OpenAI key
If you add your own OpenAI API key (and select it, or leave the setting on Automatic), voice and text commands run on your OpenAI account. OpenAI bills you directly under its own terms and we charge nothing for that usage, though we record each request so your usage history is complete. You're responsible for your OpenAI account, its spending limits and its charges.
Acceptable use
Don't use NOVA to break the law, harass people, generate sexual content involving minors, or attempt to access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that do.
Changes
We may update these terms or the price; we'll notify subscribers before a price change takes effect.
Accounts and termination
You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18 or older to use NOVA. You can delete your account anytime from Account; we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimer
NOVA is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it.
